Panasonic Lumix G9 II video streaking test

The GH6 was kind of a flop because of it's streaking problems, noise and DR boost that needed an extreme ISO setting, making it useless without ND's.

Later I tried the Sony A6700, but I did not like the color rendering and the stabilization was totally unsuitable for video (abrupt reframing-shocks all the time). I also disliked the controls (and lack thereof).

I totally missed the release of the G9 II somehow. It's perfectly functional for video and works better for that than the GH5 which I've used for years. It outperforms the A6700 in specs as well.

Anyways.. The big question was: Does it have steaks like the GH6?

Answer: Below ISO 2000 chances of getting steaking are very slim. Lower ISO's have virtually no streaking. Noise performance is on par with the GH5.
