Re: Nikon Zf AF not state of the art

Honestly have you all tried S-AF . On mirrorless bodies S-AF is essentially instant and has proven very accurate. I do smile at the my hyper active toddler is hard to photograph , they are called toddlers for good reason  I currently use Nikon Z, OM and Panasonic m43 mirrorless and previously used Sony FE all have superb S-AF. Even back to my first mirrorless camera the 2009 GF1 S-AF worked very well.

I hate to bring the wrath of some  but honestly instead of finding solutions to shoot what you want whining about camera X not doing feature y as good . Take a look at any photo sharing site and you will see many thousands of images  of moving subjects taken with the humblest of gear. I currently own two of the most advanced AF models in their respective formats the Z9 and the OM-1. I find for about 99% of what I shoot S-AF is plenty perhaps a little practice would be a good idea.
