Although I never owned the 5DIV, I did have the original R for a couple of years. That camera has the same sensor as the 5DIV, and doesn't have IBIS, so, as far as I know, the output is identical. I really liked the images I got from my R. I now have the R6II, and also really like the images I get from it. I can't say I've noticed a big difference between the output of the two cameras. Different lenses and processing choices make a big difference, but not the cameras' sensors.
