Interesting input, and thank you.  I have had several people tell me that DVD players may disappear down the road, similar to what happened to VHS cassette players.  From those comments, I got the impression that something like a flash drive or a SD card or perhaps even a small backup drive would be the best archive for future use when and if the DVD players disappear.

I have seen a few devices on Amazon that can burn DVDs....I'm still unsure which route to go.
